March 2018

Spring has come early.

February was the exact opposite of the dreadful month of January. It’s been over 70 degrees most of the month! March is upon us and brings the official opening of spring and a longer day with Daylight Savings Time. The Food and Wine Festival continues through March 4. The big holiday in March is St Patrick’s Day with the annual block party at Dunleavy’s Pub on Sullivan’s Island and downtown Charleston’s parade.

Thank goodness January is gone and February is here. January’s snow and cold weather were very unusual. Hopefully, February will be better. There’s certainly a lot to do in February in Charleston with the SE Wildlife Expo and all of the oyster roasts. The Charleston Wine and Food Festival starts at the end of the month.
